Creator of 'music for the universe', Kareem Ali released his Oasis EP a couple of weeks back, and we took to one track in particular 'Love Garden Connection', filled with R&B, house, and psychedelic sounds. The Arizona native has just dropped a new single 'Black Woman VI (The One For Me)'. Opening with uptempo electronic drums and optimistic electric keyboard, the tune has a swaying motion like a branch in the wind. Kareem repeats the soulful hook 'Black girl black girl be the one for me'; with outlandish synths building up, the song gradually gains a subtle house edge as it progresses. -Ellie Rose-Davies
